Any problem has 5 parts:
- Environment/life situation
- Physical reactions
Each of these parts affects the others. Try this exercise: Ask yourself these questions about the 5 areas and write down your answers.
Have you had a recent change or a long term problem?
Has it caused ongoing challenges?
Are you having physical reactions?
Do you have frequent moods that are troubling?
How have your moods affected your behavior?
What thoughts have you been having about yourself or others?
Do any of these interfere with your personal life or school/work?
When you look at your answers, do you see any connections between the 5 areas? In order to feel better, it may be necessary to make changes in several areas., but it is often more important to change your thoughts and behaviors to make lasting improvements in your life.
