New Intern Sees Medical Assistance Patients

As I move into being an empty-nester, I have decided to spend this phase of my life making sure that I can look back with no regrets. I have always wanted to be a therapist and now seems to be the right time for me and my family to pursue this goal. I am very excited to have this opportunity to complete my counseling internship with Wendy at Yurk Counseling Services LLC. I walked away from our first meeting knowing that she is passionate about this work and that I would learn a lot from her.
I have worked for many years in the human services field doing crisis counseling and advocacy for men, women, children and families. It is my belief that everyone should be treated with dignity and respect and without judgment. Change takes time and I celebrate every step, no matter how small, as they are truly significant. I look forward to growing as a professional counselor as I assist my clients in their own process of growth. I am accepting new Medical Assistance patients at this time. Please contact us at 920-287-0406 to schedule an appointment with me.
